The watershed work for enhancing the water availability in village Bedukpada has been completed in May 2023.

The work includes making of a mass concrete subsurface bund downstream the well.

This work will help in enhancing the water availability in the well throughout the year. Water for humans as well as cattle will be available throughout the year

Overall, by making sufficient water available in the village, the work will reduce approx. 32,000 human thirst days and 21,000 cattle thirst days before coming monsoon. It means that, there is no need to wait for the results and benefits till one monsoon cycle.
